Asiwome O. Dzakuma

Asiwome is an ATR Captain who previously flew the MD 80 Jet Series. and has experience in various General Aviation Aircrafts.

A rated FAA Airline Transport Pilot, Asiwome is also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Instrument Flight Instructor (CFII) Certified Multiengine Instructor (MEI) and holds the Advance Ground Instructors ratings (AGI) and Instrument Ground Instructors ratings (IGI). which qualifies him to give students instructions for private pilot, Instrument, Commercial and Flight Instructor ratings as well as all aircrafts he is rated in. In addition Asiwome is an FAA certified Aviation Safety Program Manager, Aviation Safety Program Auditor and a designated risk management train the trainer.

Asiwome earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Aerospace Science from the Middle Tennessee State University and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and International studies with a minor in Military Science from the Eastern Illinois University U.S.A. . Very passionate about aviation Asiwome seeks to promote General Aviation as an important vehicle for socio-economic development and growth in Africa.

Kwasi Forson

Kwasi Forson an EMB 145 Captain is an FAA rated Airline Transport Pilot, also flew the MD 80 Jet series and the Saab 340 Turbo prop aircraft.

Kwasi graduated from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science with a major in Human Resource Management and Population Studies. and proceeded to the U.S.A. to commence his aviation career and has since flown all over Africa, Europe and the U.S.A.

Although rated in Transport category aircrafts Kwasi is still very passionate about light aircraft and desires to see to the development of General Aviation in Africa.

Julio De-Medeiros

Julio De-Medeiros, Esq. holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Ghana, a qualifying certificate in law (QCL) from the Ghana school of law. A practicing lawyer with vast experience in litigation, cooperate law, regulatory compliance as well as labor law.

Julio also dabbles as an adjunct law lecturer at the Regent University where he lectures company law, business law and partnership law. Julio sits on many boards as company secretary. He is also a director of ICARUS UK.LLP. and has been involved in several high level international negotiations. He is currently the lead counsel for the negotiation towards the building of the first Thermoaerohydraulic power project in Ghana, between the Government of Ghana and Ingenieur Consultant International of France

Julio is the managing partner of De Medeiros and Associates. Prior to setup of De Medeiros and Associates, he was the deputy managing consultant of Akyianu and Associates. In that role, he headed the litigation department and was lead counsel for companies like the United Bank of Africa, standard Chartered Bank, National Investment Bank, Amalgamated Bank amongst others

Nene Kodjoe

Nene Kodjoe is a member of the SAS Aviation for Development Board. He joined the board in December 2009.

He also serves on the Associate Board for All for Africa a New York based non – for- profit organization that seeks to help secure long- term sustainability of community level initiatives in health, education, clean water, sufficient energy, micro finance, community development, and skills training on the continent of Africa.

He has also volunteered for several New York and Washington based non – for-profit organizations, namely The Hunger Project, Search for Common Ground, Angel Africa and Titagya Schools.

From the summer 1996 to the fall of 1997 he was part of the New York Civil Air Patrol and the Harlem Youth Marine Corps where he assisted in administrative operations.

Nene graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with both a BS and an MPA.
